Luke is currently working on a new production of Leoš Janáček's opera, The Cunning Little Vixen. The production will premiere in December 2012 at the Danish Royal Opera House, Copenhagen. Directed by Francisco Negrin with set design by Es Deviln.

Description
Luke Halls was invited to collaborate with Finn Ross on the visual content for Complicite's new production of Mikhail Bulgakov's 1930's masterpiece. Several key sequences required complex 3d animation which Luke directed. These scenes were developed during rehearsals and well in to the tour, culminating in the London opening at the Barbican centre in March 2012. The production has continued to tour Europe, and will be headlining the festival d'Avignon in July.

For Rihanna's performance of 'We Found Love' at the 2012 Grammy Awards, Luke designed and directed video content to compliment Es Devlin's set design. Luke worked between London and LA to deliver the final piece within a very short time frame.

Working with Third Company, Luke was Creative Director of video content for Elton John's Million Dollar Piano residency at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. Working with a large team of talented designers and animators, Luke helped to craft a full set of bold pieces which were displayed on the Colosseum’s 104 foot curved screen and Elton's bespoke piano.

In 2008, Luke was approached to design the branding, title sequence and interactive game design for a new pilot by Objective Productions. The Cube has now just had its sixth series commissioned by ITV as well as being sold on to numerous other markets. It has won many industry awards, most recently a BAFTA at the 2012 TV craft awards.

Over the course of the two year tour, Luke created pieces for many tracks from the bands 30 year career such as The Unforgettable Fire, City of Blinding Lights, Moment of Surrender and Mysterious Ways.

At the beginning of 2011 Luke was invited to be the creative director
of screen content for the new Batman Live touring arena show.
The video content and animation was designed to reflect the comic
book style of Jim Lee. The stage design incorporated a 100ft LED
screen used throughout the show to extend sets and help tell the story.
Following six months of intense animation and rehearsals,
the show opened at Manchester MEN arena to rave reviews
and will continue to tour the world in to 2012.

Description

The concept involved the design of an Alice in Wonderland style world in which the band enter by appearing to walk through the screen. Description
onedotzero digital film festival invited stage designer Es devlin and musician Nitin Sawhney to collaborate on a unique evening of performance at the Southbank IMAX. Luke directed a 70 minute film based on Es' original concept to accompany Nitin's performance of his new album. The film which was produced in only three weeks was very well received by the audience and press.
